Sharimar Y. Cruz

 Sharimar Cruz is a creative genius in my eyes.
She is currently a Sophomore majoring in Photography at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.
I've worked with Sharimar before on a few projects, and her eye for detail, unique perspective, and relatable concepts really distinguishes her from the rest. I most definitely consider Sharimar as a Successful Millennial, and I honestly can't wait to see what her future holds.

​Photography wasn't always something i was interested growing up or anything, but when I found it, and the way I found it, it was like it was destined for me to be a photographer. It all started after I broke my foot. 
I was a volleyball player throughout the beginning of my high school years until that happened. My goal, before this tragedy, was to go off to college to play professional volleyball - and at that time volleyball was my everything! The doctors told me that my injury was too severe to risk damaging it again by playing volleyball, so i had to give it up. At this time, I was numb to the fact that i lost a huge part of me. But my best friend had a camera, and i loved playing around with it. So there it was! I realized photography is fun for me so I got my first camera, and ever since then, I've been taking pictures. Capturing life and all its moments.
