cleaner eating 2.0
I've been under some serious transformation you guys, starting with the food I've been eating. If you read my post on cleaner eating, then you know I've decided to embark on my journey to becoming a vegetarian. So far, it has not been difficult at all. I'm back on campus for RA training and over the course of training I am fed, but I decided to go grocery shopping before hand in order to resist any temptations I may have had. To be honest, I've had none! The food I've been preparing myself has been nothing but delicious and I actually get excited to cook because I feel as though I'm creating something new.
I probably would not be so tolerant if it weren't for my lovely friend Caprisha! We recently had a mini photo shoot so go check that out in my Photography tab! She's a beautiful person with an even more attractive soul. Caprisha is currently a vegan and has been monitoring her diet for several years now and she's extremely helpful when it comes to purchasing foods, how to tell when something is ripe or not and even how to prepare or cook something. Caprisha has created her own website where you can find EVERYTHING you need to know about eating cleaner. I encourage all of you to go check it out: caprivana.weebly.com
I do feel some changes after eliminating meat from my diet, in addition to fat or sugary foods. My skin has less blemishes, I feel energized and overall happier. I could be wrong, but honestly I'm really liking this lifestyle change and I hope to keep it up.
